Senior Elite
The Riptide Senior Elite Team is the upper echelon of our program and is designed for a select group of committed, accomplished competitive swimmers. Entry to this Team is at the discretion of Head Coach & USA Swimming National Team Coach Mike Parratto. This group is for championship-level competitive swimmers who have committed fully to the sport and to the demands inherent to an elite program; both in and out of the pool. Members of this group are preparing for National and Collegiate swimming. In-water training is complimented by focused strength and conditioning training, psychological training and nutritional education. Year-round training is required as is consistent attendance at all scheduled practices and meets. The age range for this team is 13 years and older.
Equipment needed: Required - Long blade fins, water bottle (no glass), short kick board, pull buoy, training suits, goggles, cap, tennis shoes for pool, dryland clothing, running shoes, paddles (optional) and mesh bag. Riptide Team Gear. (Riptide suit, Riptide cap and Riptide team t-shirt)
