  • Senior State Championship – Riptide swimmers swam their hearts out to win the 2022 Senior State Championships with 2974 points this past weekend at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. Congratulations to all of our swimmers for their accomplishments, effort and hard work!!! Riptide had six high point award winners at the end of the meet: Distance High Point – Katherine Randall (2nd) and Evan Kindseth (1st). Overall High Point – Megan Hutchins (2nd), Haakon Naughton (3rd), Max Kasal (2nd) and Jackson Kehler (1st). Way to go Riptide!!!
  • Age Group State Championship – The 14&U Age Group State Championship begins Thursday, March 17 in Rochester. Riptide is sending 60 swimmers! We will have meet details as soon as they are available. Good luck to all of our swimmers – GET RIPT!
  • The Start of the Long Course / Summer Season – Our long course season begins on Monday, April 4! Group calendars are now posted. We will have the summer schedule out shortly but do not anticipate any changes from last summer. Lead coaches are in the process of setting dates and times for IN PERSON J Parents’ Meetings. Stay tuned!
  • Long Course Meets – The preliminary meet schedule is now posted. However, the coaching staff may adjust some of the group assignments. Thank you for your patience while we get next season’s schedule finalized. Be sure to block off your schedules for your swimmers end of season championship!
  • Group Moves – Lead coaches will reach out to parents of swimmers who will move groups this coming long course season by Tuesday, March 22. If you do not hear from your swimmer’s lead coach by that date, then there is no group change for your swimmer. Any questions should be directed to your swimmer’s lead coach.
  • MNSI Diversity and Disability Camp – Minnesota Swimming is hosting a one day camp for swimmers of our diverse and disability community. The camp is sponsored by MNSI and will take place at St. Catherine University on April 30. Regular Reminders

  • Questions – If you have any questions regarding your swimmer, meets, clinics, practices etc. please contact your swimmer’s lead coach in order to get the quickest, most accurate and helpful response (see the list below). The coaches are here to help your child in all areas of their swimming. Make sure to reach out to them! If you have a billing question, contact Cara Pavek - [email protected].
  • Clinic Reminders – Clinic registration can only be done through our website. Do not register for clinics using the TU App. Make sure to read the description for clinics and register your swimmer with the correct roster. Your swimmer will not always be in the same session; it will depend on the clinic roster combinations.
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches are offering 30 and 60 minute private lessons. The winter break may be an ideal time to try and schedule a session. If your swimmer is interested, either contact your lead coach directly or [email protected].
  • Adult Swim Private Lessons, Clinic & Training: Adult Swim Clinic for Triathletes & Masters – Sunday, February 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Group Training Sessions for Triathletes and Masters – Monday and Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:00 a.m. and/or Tuesday and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The next session begins February 28 (M/W) and March 1 (T/TH) for three weeks. Training sessions will resume the last week in March and continue monthly per interest. $25 / week – billing is monthly. Group Beginner Adult Lessons – 60 minute sessions on Fridays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. $25 / week – billing is monthly. March session begins March 4 (3-weeks in March). Individual and Small Group Lessons – 30 and 60 minute sessions by appointment. $110 per hour lesson and $65 per 30 minute lesson.
