  • Honoring Coach Maggie - There will be a visitation at White Funeral Home in Lakeville on Thursday, March 31 from 5-8pm. A memorial service will also be held at White Funeral Home in Lakeville on Friday April 1 at 11:00am with a luncheon to follow.
  • Riptide Gear - Maggie's family has requested a large Riptide presence at her services. We are encouraging everyone to wear their Riptide gear so we can show her family our love, but also so we can come together a team to grieve. If you do not have Riptide apparel for everyone in your family, t-shirts can be ordered using the link below from Elsmore. These are our standard shirts but using this link, they will be expedited by Elsmore Swim Shop.https://elsmoreswim.com/teams/minnesota/clubs/riptide-tee.html Ordering will be open until Tuesday, March 29th at 3PM. You can pick up your order in the Elsmore store starting at 2PM on Thursday, March 31st. If you choose to ship your order, you will not receive it until on or after Saturday, April 2nd 
  • Memories of Maggie - If your swimmer(s) have any fond memories or stories about Maggie to give to Hunter, please do not forget to send them to [email protected]. We will be putting together a book for Hunter to always know the impact his mom made on so many lives. 
  • GoFundMe - Riptide has established a GoFundMe Memorial account in honor of Maggie - https://gofund.me/fc63e543. All proceeds will go to Hunter McMahon, Maggie's son. We encourage you to share the link with your friends in the swim community so we can help offer as much assistance as possible.
  • Silver and Gold Groups – Our staff is working hard to set a good plan in place to make sure our Silver and Gold groups continue to have great coaching as well as the care and love that they will need moving forward. Thank you for your patience and understanding while the staff works through their own grief and then sets up the coaching coverage.
  • The Start of the Long Course / Summer Season – Our long course season begins on Monday, April 4! Group calendars are now posted. We will have the summer schedule out shortly but do not anticipate any changes from last summer. Lead coaches are in the process of setting dates and times for IN PERSON J Parents’ Meetings. Stay tuned!
  • Long Course Meets – The preliminary meet schedule is now posted. However, the coaching staff may adjust some of the group assignments. Thank you for your patience while we get next season’s schedule finalized. Be sure to block off your schedules for your swimmers end of season championship!
  • MNSI Diversity and Disability Camp – Minnesota Swimming is hosting a one day camp for swimmers of our diverse and disability community. The camp is sponsored by MNSI and will take place at St. Catherine University on April 30. The deadline has been extended to April 15. This is a great opportunity!
