RIPTIDE NEWS – March 30, 2022

We are all in a daze and can hardly believe that our beloved Coach Maggie is no longer with us. Here are a number of important pieces of information as we begin this process of grieving together.

SERVICES for MAGGIE

Visitation – Thursday, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Trail, Lakeville.

Funeral – Friday, 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at the White Funeral Home.

A TIME TO GATHER IN MEMORY OF MAGGIE

Riptide will host a time to grieve and be together on Saturday between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. at Bluewater Aquatic Center. Parents and swimmers are welcome to stop by anytime to just be with each other, sit quietly, draw or write or even swim a little. Many of our coaches will be on hand as well as a therapist (one of our original Riptide coaches – Katie Buhr DeRegnier). The coaching staff feel this is a good opportunity to gather, grieve and start the healing process together.

NEW LEAD COACHES

Gold – Coach Sissy Rytting will oversee the group along with assistant coaches Michelle Hopewell and Penny Lindgren.

Silver – Coach Amy Parratto will oversee the group along with assistants to be named.
