Latest Information

  • Meet Deadlines – NSAC L.C. Invite (June 10-12) deadline is May 10 and the Atlantis L.C. Invite (June 24-26) deadline is also May 10. If you have any questions regarding these meets, contact your swimmer’s lead coach.
  • Practice Schedule Adjustments – Due to swimming meets, we have a few practice adjustments this week: Junior Select and Silver – No Practice on Friday, May 13; Bronze – Practice has been moved to 6:30 to 7:30 on Friday, May 13; All Groups – No Practice on Saturday, May 14. Our practice calendars have been updated!
  • Latest Swim Meet News – We have the Riptide Maggie McMahon Invite this Saturday at our facility and a travel meet to Sioux Falls – SFST Ready for Long Course Invite, South Dakota for our Junior Select and Senior Elite swimmers. The meet pages will be updated as soon as information is made available.
  • Important Parking Lot Reminder - Drop off / Pick up: To encourage a safer traffic flow in the parking lot, please use the traffic entrance closest to the pool and exit near Elsmore. This simulates a one-way street traffic pattern. We know the evening is a very busy time at Bluewater and the parking lot can get crowded. Please follow the traffic flow which allows swimmers to exit the vehicle on the same side as the building; therefore they do not need to dart in between cars.  When parents are waiting for your swimmer to exit the building, please choose a parking spot, then pull up to the doors when you see your swimmer leave the building.

   

  • COVID Update – Positive case numbers have been going up these last few weeks. Please be extra vigilant in terms of monitoring your children and testing. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should swimmers exhibiting symptoms associated with Covid-19 and/or with a fever of 100.4 or higher attend practices. Please work together to reduce the risk of infection.
  • Current Covid Protocols: Positive Test - return on day 10 regardless of vaccination status provided person is symptom free. Close Contact Exposure or live with someone who is positive: Unvaccinated - Return on day 7 with a negative test taken on day 5 or later OR return on day 10 without a test. Vaccinated - Return on day 5 or later with a negative test 5+ days after exposure.

  • Questions – If you have any questions regarding your swimmer, meets, clinics, practices etc. please contact your swimmer’s lead coach in order to get the quickest, most accurate and helpful response (see the list below). The coaches are here to help your child in all areas of their swimming. Make sure to reach out to them! If you have a billing question, contact Cara Pavek – [email protected]
  • Clinic Reminders – Clinic registration can only be done through our website. Do not register for clinics using the TU App. Make sure to read the description for clinics and register your swimmer with the correct roster. Your swimmer will not always be in the same session; it will depend on the clinic roster combinations.
  • Private Lessons - Riptide Coaches are offering 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, either contact your lead coach directly or [email protected].
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons - Group Training Sessions for Triathletes and Masters – Monday and Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:00 a.m. and /or Tuesday and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. $25 / week – billing is monthly. Group Beginner Adult Lessons – 60 minute sessions on Fridays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. $25 / week – billing is monthly. Individual and Small Group Lessons – 30 and 60 minute sessions by appointment. $110 per hour lesson and $65 per 30 minute lesson. For more information – contact Michelle Hopewell at [email protected].
