Latest Information

  • MNSI 14&U Age Group Championships – Riptide swimmers had an outstanding four days of racing in Rochester coming away with third place in the combined team standings! We could not be prouder of our swimmers! All of our age groups (8&U, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14) contributed to this TEAM effort. Riptide had particularly strong 13-14 year old swimmers who placed in the top three in the high point awards for that age group: Caroline Mulrooney -3rd, Will Redetzke - 3rd and Will Curran – 1st. Congratulations to one and all!!!
  • Riptide Zone Team Qualifiers – The following swimmers have qualified for the Central Zone 14&U Long Course Championships held at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center August 4-7: Franny Anderson, Will Curran, Kathryn Deeb, Isla George, Jase Hansen, Marian Kalweit, Greta Marcott, Caroline Mulrooney, Will Redetzke and Paige Turnbow.
  • Speedo Junior Championships – Riptide has three swimmers attending Junior Nationals in Irvine, California: Matthew Mortenson, Ella Passe and Matthew Warweg. The meet starts today. Good luck to everyone at Nationals!!!
  • Short Course Season – The short course season begins September 12. We do not anticipate any major schedule changes from last short course season.
  • Registration Update – There will be two registration periods this year. The first one will be on Team Unify and the second on USA Swimming’s website. We will have more information and links that will be sent to all families soon. Thank you for your patience.

  • Questions – If you have any questions regarding your swimmer, meets, clinics, practices etc. please contact your swimmer’s lead coach in order to get the quickest, most accurate and helpful response (see the list below). The coaches are here to help your child in all areas of their swimming. Make sure to reach out to them! If you have a billing question, contact Cara Pavek – [email protected]
  • Stroke and Turn Officials - Anyone interested in learning to become a USA Swimming Stroke and Turn Official - please contact Wendy Peterson at [email protected].  
  • Private Lessons - Riptide Coaches are offering 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, either contact your lead coach directly or [email protected].
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons - Group Training Sessions for Triathletes and Masters; Group Beginner Adult Lessons; and Individual and Small Group Lessons – will resume at the end of June as the schedule changes for the summer months. For more information – contact Michelle Hopewell at [email protected].
