  • Riptide Intrasquad Meet October 1st: The team assignments (Blue, Green or White) are attached and will be posted on our team feed! The coaching staff will select the swimmers’ events by Tuesday. This is a scored meet between the three teams! We encourage swimmers to show their team colors and team spirit! All swimmers should plan to stay until the last relay of the meet. More details to come!
  • Upcoming Meet Deadline: Riptide Senior Distance Meet / deadline Sept. 28th, NSAC Invite / deadline Oct. 1st.
  • Swim Meet Added on November 6th: We have added a meet hosted by NSAC at the U of M on Sunday, November 6th. Deadline to register is Oct. 1st. See our meet page for specific details. If you have a question, contact your swimmer’s lead coach.
  • Splash Night: Please join us in celebrating the beginning of the season and gathering for a fun night with the teammates! At this Splash Party, we will be working in teams to create your own cardboard craft that participants will have a chance to race in! Have your own team in mind? Great, bring them all together and start your planning now! If you are new to the team it will be an amazing opportunity for your swimmer to make new friends and discover the strong bonds on our team! We will treat ourselves to the ice cream to celebrate our victories and teamwork with the open swim to follow after our own Riptide 2022 Boat Race!!!! This event is for swimmers ONLY. To register, please visit the link. The registration closes on October 2nd. Please contact Coach Olga if you have any questions.
  • Response needed: Community building helps facilitate good communication between swimmers and coaches and creates a sense of trust and respect that promotes the full engagement of all swimmers every day. The Parent Volunteer Committee is working hard to plan two events for our team this season. Please take 3 minutes to fill out the  survey by September 30th  in order for us to start planning and reserving the space. We kindly ask every family to fill out the survey so we can plan these fun activities accordingly.
  •  Minnesota Swimming Workshop - Athlete/Coach Retreat/Workshop Registration is now open!!! Event Timing: October 8th, 2022 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Event Address: St. Kate’s University, 2004 Randolph Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55105. Event will include motivational, mental health, nutrition, asthma, and college athlete speakers. There will also be group open discussions for athletes and coaches. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please register by Wednesday, Oct. 5th.
  • Question & Answer Nights: The Q&A nights this Monday and Tuesday have been cancelled.

  • Questions – If you have any questions regarding your swimmer, meets, clinics, practices etc. please contact your swimmer’s lead coach in order to get the quickest, most accurate and helpful response (see the list below).   • Team Suit: The new team suit is Speedo Ruse in blue for all meets. For Senior Elite swimmers specifically, they have two team suits. Ruse for all home meets and the black suit with the logo for away meets when only Senior Elite swimmers are competing. Elsmore is expecting those suits around Oct. 1st due to warehouse issues at Speedo. All items are on the Riptide team apparel page and available to order. Swimmers should wear last year’s suit until the new suits arrive.
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons - Group Beginner Adult Lessons, Individual and Small Group Lessons – will resume at the beginning of September. For more information – contact Michelle Hopewell at [email protected]
  • Stroke and Turn Officials - Anyone interested in learning to become a USA Swimming Stroke and Turn Official - please contact Wendy Peterson at [email protected].  
  • Private Lessons - Riptide Coaches are offering 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, either contact your lead coach directly or [email protected].
