  • Three Meet Weekend Wrap-up: Congratulations to all of the swimmers who competed this past weekend at the TYR PRO meet in Knoxville, TN; the ACAC Tundra meet in Ames, IA; and our own Winter All Levels meet! All in all, Riptide has 222 swimmers competing over the weekend. Thank you to all of our families, coaches and officials who helped to run another great Riptide swim meet for our swimmers and the visiting teams. You are the best! We don’t yet have the officials results loaded for the Tundra meet, but our meet results are attached. If you spot any errors, please contact Coach Amy ([email protected]).
  • Bowling: TODAY is the last day to sign up for the team outing to Cedarvale Bowling. Riptide Bowling Party Sign Up.  Let's have some fun! 
  • Gold and Junior Select Bingo and Hot Chocolate night: Thank you to our Parent Volunteer Committee for organizing the bingo night! Hot chocolate with a variety of toppings will be served to our swimmers. If your swimmer has any allergies please let Coach Olga know by the end of the day today. Please plan on picking up your swimmer 20-30 minutes later than usual time. Gold group- January 19th  6:45-7:15 p.m. / Junior Select- January 20th  6:15-6:45 p.m.
  • Meet Deadlines: Riptide Valentine Splash Invite on February 4th – deadline is TODAY!

Regular Reminders

  • Important Parking Lot Safety Reminder: In order to have a safer traffic flow in the parking lot, please use the traffic entrance closest to the pool and exit near Elsmore.(see picture below)  This simulates a one-way street traffic pattern. Please remind your swimmers and relatives about this safety procedure if they are driving your child. Additionally, following the traffic flow allows swimmers to exit the vehicle on the same side as the building. No swimmers should be darting in between cars. This is not safe! Lastly, there should be absolutely NO parking or waiting for an extended period of time in front of handicap spots. When waiting for your swimmer to exit the building, please choose a parking spot, then pull up to the doors when you see your swimmer leave the building. Thank you for your cooperation as we want to keep all swimmers safe!
  • Mock Meet – Training Opportunity in January: On Sunday, January 29th, we are hosting an unsanctioned "mock meet" as a way to offer training for the Colorado Timing System, Hy-Tek Meet Manager and other volunteer positions. If you are interested in training on any of these systems or giving another volunteer position a try, please sign up here - https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0F48AEA92BA6FD0-mock. We are also looking for swimmers that might want to participate...someone needs to swim the events!   • Questions: If you have any questions regarding your swimmer, meets, clinics, practices etc. please contact your swimmer’s lead coach in order to get the quickest, most accurate and helpful response (see the list below).
