Important Reminders

  • First Day of Practice: We begin the 2023 long course season on Wednesday, April 5th!
  • Group Parent Meetings: Please make every effort to attend the important parent meetings for each practice group. If you are not able to attend the scheduled meeting, reach out to your swimmer’s lead coach. Here is the schedule – 8&U Tuesday, April 4th 5:15 p.m.; Bronze Tuesday, April 4th 7:15 p.m.; Silver Monday, April 3rd 6:00 p.m.; Gold Monday, April 3rd 5:45 p.m.; Junior Select Tuesday, April 4th 6:00 p.m., Senior Prep and Senior Saturday, April 15th 11:40 a.m., Senior Elite Friday, April 7th 5:30 p.m. All meetings will either take place in the dryland area or in the upstairs meeting room at BWAC.
  • Free Parent Workshop:  Join us for the “Positive Parent Involvement in Sports” talk with Coach Amy on April 29th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Please register online by visiting our events page. 
  • Inner Tube Water Polo Tournament: We are excited to host our First Annual Inner Tube Water Polo Tournament to kick off the long course season. Please join us for this unique event on April 22nd from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. This exciting team bonding opportunity is open to all of the swimmers, parents and coaches!   • Riptide Clinics: With a ratio of 1 coach to 8 swimmers, we are able to provide personalized instant feedback to every swimmer. Swimmers have their own lane giving them an opportunity to swim without interruption the entire time.  Our sessions are grouped by similar levels making sure the structure of the session is appropriate to the skill level. One hour of focused and detailed work on what your child needs to improve upon is enough to make a huge difference and build a feeling of self-confidence and accomplishment. We give swimmers powerful tools to implement into their weekly practices and help improve overall performance! The Long Course Clinics registration will open on April 5th. Please register soon if your swimmer is interested, as it fills out really quickly.
