Important Reminders

  • MAC MEET: Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed at the Minnesota Achievement Championships this past weekend in River Falls. Riptide swimmers had a ton of best times and new Silver events. Way to go everyone!!! The results are now loaded in TU and the SWIMS data base. 
  • NEXT UP…SPEEDO SECTIONALS and REGIONALS: Riptide is sending 18 Senior Elite swimmers to Speedo Sectionals in Des Moines, Iowa this Thursday through Sunday. We have 128 Riptide swimmers attending the Minnesota Regional Championships in Austin this Friday through Sunday. Good luck to everyone!!! Have fun…swim fast!!! J
  • PRIVATE LESSON SPECIAL: We are offering another Special Privates at a discounted price in August. 30 minutes-$50, 60 minutes $90. (Savings of $15). Please visit the link below to sign up - https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4fafaa2caafac43-private#/. The offer is also available for the semi-private option if your swimmer has a friend who would like to work on the same skill. (30 min.- $25 each, 60 min. $45 each)  Sign up both to the same spot.
  • FLEX SWIM: As a reminder, the Flex swim registration will close on August 7th. No registration will be accepted after the deadline. The space is limited, so please register early to secure your spot.
  • LAST DAY OF PRACTICE: The last day of practice is Thursday, July 13th for all swimmers finishing their season at Regionals. Only swimmers who are competing at 14&U Age Group State, Senior State, Zones, Speedo Sectionals and Junior Nationals will continue practicing through the end of July.
  • GROUP MOVES: Lead coaches will notify families of group moves the week of July 24th. If you do not hear from the lead coach, there is no roster change.                                                                                                                                                           

Regular Reminders

  • Short Course Season Registration: Registration opens for the short course season On August 14th. Any group moves will be sent to families the week of July 24th.  Practices start the week of September 11th.
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, either contact your lead coach directly or [email protected]
  • Stroke and Turn Officials - Anyone interested in learning to become a USA Swimming Stroke and Turn Official - please contact Wendy Peterson at [email protected].
