  • REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed this past weekend at the Regional Championships in Austin. Riptide finished 1st in the combined team standings – WAY TO GO EVERYONE!!!! The weather cooperated and our swimmers had a ton of outstanding races and new State qualifying times. Here is the list of our Top 10 High Point winners: 8&U's - Nelli Agalliu 4th, Olivia Liu 8th, Murphy DiMarco 2nd, Ben Kohler 3rd; 9-10's - Daelynn Schmidt 2nd, Morgan Simms 3rd, Chloe Qiu 4th, Nicole Cambry 7th, Quinn Hatleli 8th, Kayla Schroeder 9th, Elliott Loesche 2nd, Eddie McGarvey 5th; 11-12's - Nora Behrens 1st, Savannah Kerkhoff 7th, Kathryn Deeb 8th, Addie Fokken 9th, Owen Jennen 5th, Logan Wolf 7th, Filip Symreng 8th, Parker Stuckey 10th; 13-14's - Maddie Jennen 1st, Vivian Lenzen 4th, Chandler Offerman 5th, Maddie Wentzel 6th, Lila Salzman 8th, Hannah Stuckey 9th, Wes Knapp 1st, Mackenzie Schroeder 3rd, Carson Osendorf 6th, Andrew Deeb 10th. Congratulations to our Top 10 swimmers!!! Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for helping to run this important LSC meet. It truly does take teamwork to swim well and to host a meet. You are all the best!!! 
  • CENTRAL ZONE NORTH SUMMER SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed at Sectionals in Des Moines, Iowa July 13-16. Riptide finished 16th in the combined team standings. Riptide swimmers swam their hearts out and had a great time! We had two swimmers earn Junior National qualifying times at the meet! Quinlan Schroeder qualified in the 100 Breaststroke and Patrick Curran qualified in the 200 Backstroke! Congratulations guys!!! Results should be loaded into SWIMS and TU soon.
  • FLEX SWIM: The registration deadline has been moved to July 24th. Please note, if your swimmer will be moving to another group in the fall they will still be swimming with their existing group for the Flex.  
  • SAVE THE DATE: Our annual “Meat and Greet” event will take place on September 17th at Whitetail Woods Regional Park. We will have our groups meeting, welcome new members and it will be a great team bonding time for swimmers! 
  • GROUP MOVES: Lead coaches will notify families of group moves the week of July 24th. If you do not hear from the lead coach, there is no roster change.                                                                                                                                                           

Regular Reminders

  • Short Course Season Registration: Registration opens for the short course season On August 14th. Any group moves will be sent to families the week of July 24th.  Practices start the week of September 11th.
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, either contact your lead coach directly or [email protected]
  • Stroke and Turn Officials - Anyone interested in learning to become a USA Swimming Stroke and Turn Official - please contact Wendy Peterson at [email protected].
