MEET DEADLINES: Riptide Relay Carnival (Sept. 30) – deadline Sept. 16.

MEET and GREET: The 2nd Annual “Meet and Greet” will take place this Sunday, Sept. 17! Let’s spend a day connecting and making memories with the Riptide Swim Team family at Whitetail Woods Regional Park in Rosemount. We welcome new families, gather with existing members, connect with coaches, get to know each other, and eat delicious food! Swimmers have an opportunity to meet new friends, play together and create strong bonds as we kick off our short course season. Please do your best to attend! This is NOT a drop off event, parents are encouraged to stay and socialize. Also, to note, swimmers currently swimming for high school teams are encouraged to attend. Special note to parents…Are you faster than your swimmers? You might be on land…get ready for some fun games and competitive challenges. Let the best team win!!!

Please sign up for food, note your respective training group below and the appropriate sign-up genius. Please make sure the food is brought in on time to avoid delays in serving the food.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the park.

8U, Bronze and Silver 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Senior Elite 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

Gold and Junior Select – 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Senior and Senior Prep – 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

MOCK MEET: We are hosting a non-sanctioned meet on September 24, 6:30-8:00pm as an opportunity to provide a training session for the Colorado and HyTek training systems to the parents who are learning these positions to run our meets. (Thank you!) 

We are looking for swimmers who would like to volunteer to swim at this event. Swimmers will be asked to swim a certain event (age appropriate) and given the scenario of a specific touch on the touchpad upon completion of their race, so our wonderful team of parents can get trained and get ready for the real meet. It also will be a great opportunity for some swimmers to try the event they have not swum yet and feel nervous about, or if they are getting ready for their first meet. In addition, it is a GREAT opportunity for parents to come and check out our Official's team, if you are considering joining, without the pressure of people on stands at a low paced environment. We highly encourage our families to consider this opportunity.

We truly appreciate you and your swimmer’s consideration in helping with this, so we can train our strong team of officials, and behind the scenes support team in order to run successful Riptide meets! We could not do it without our parent volunteers!
