IMPORTANT REMINDERS

NORTHFIELD SPOOKY SPLASH: Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed yesterday. Our swimmers swam their hearts out and earned a ton of best times! The results are now loaded in Team Unify and SWIMS. Way to go everyone!!!

REMEMBERING COACH MAGGIE: Our beloved coach Maggie passed away suddenly on March 26, 2022. She was only 37 years old. Tomorrow (Oct. 17) would have been her 39th birthday. We would like swimmers to honor her memory by making a homemade card this week with a message to Maggie or a favorite memory of her. We will then give the memory cards to her parents and her son Hunter. A table will be set up in front of our Maggie banner in the lobby. Thank you for taking the time to honor Maggie.

BRONZE RECOGNITION MONTH: October is the month we recognize our Bronze swimmers for their hard work! Bronze swimmers will have a pumpkin decorating party this Friday, 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. before practice.

BANQUET FUNDRAISER: We have secured several spots as an opportunity for our Annual Team Banquet fundraiser at Cub Foods in Apple Valley on December 16th  from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please follow the link below to sign to help fundraise. Each session should have at least one supervising adult. Note: we are offering a clinic that day, please plan accordingly if you are planning to attend both.

Parking Safety: Please be considerate of the ONE-WAY traffic pattern at our parking lot. We are seeing an increased number of cars driving in the wrong direction. We need to make sure we keep our swimmers and families safe, and you play an important part in complying with this safety rule. Please pass this information to the family members and/or friends who drop off/pick up your swimmers, so they are aware as well. Thank you! Take a look at the attached parking lot map.

LOST and FOUND: Be sure to take some time to stop by the lost and found in the lobby. There is equipment (fins, kickboards etc.), towels, caps, goggles, clothes, parkas, and way too many water bottles. Items not claimed by October 21st will be donated or thrown away.

PARENT WORKSHOP: You are invited to attend a FREE parent workshop presented by Coach Amy this Saturday from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Amy will present strategies to help you support your children in their activities and help you find the best ways to navigate the world of youth sports.  Please register on our event page. As of this morning, there are only eight parents signed up. Coach Amy promises that you will be glad you made the time to attend!
