IMPORTANT REMINDERS

RIPTIDE JINGLE BELL INVITE: We will have the latest meet information posted on our meet page by tomorrow (Nov. 28th). The meet warm-up on Saturday begins at 12:00 and the meet starts at 1:00 p.m. Swimmers should plan to be on deck no later than 11:45 a.m. We are still looking for a few more volunteers. Thank you to those of you who have already signed up to help!

MEET DEADLINES: Foxjet Pentathlon / 13&O (Dec. 16th) deadline Nov. 28th, Aquajet Invite (Jan. 6th) – Deadline Dec. 2nd, Riptide Snowball Invite (Jan. 20th) deadline Dec. 15th.

RIPTIDE MASTERS CHARITY EVENT: Our Masters group hosted a charity event on Thanksgiving morning (100 x 100’s) to benefit 360 Community Charities. We had 43 swimmers participate! Our group raised $1,138 in monetary donations and we brought 413 pounds of non-perishable food and personal care products to the center early this morning. 

COACH ALLIE STEFFEN: We are sad to announce that this is Coach Allie’s last week with Riptide. Please read the Allie's letter sent in our email blast. We are going to miss you Coach Allie!!! Thank you for everything!!!

PRACTICE CHANGE ON SATURDAY: Because of our Jingle Bell meet on Saturday (Dec. 2nd), we need to adjust the practice time for Senior Prep. The adjusted practice time is now 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. The practice will begin with dryland exercises in the lobby area. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Amanda.

SWIMMING IN COLLEGE: Does your swimmer want to compete in college, but you don't know where to start? Please join us for this FREE educational session with Head Coach Mike Parratto from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17th. Mike will discuss the important steps in the process: understanding college swimming and the divisions, how to know what type of school is the best fit, how to contact the college coach, when to start the process and more!

NEW CLINIC CANCELATION POLICY: Starting December 1st, clinic registration will be non-refundable / non creditable. Once you sign up your swimmer for the clinic you commit to it. If your swimmers is currently signed up for a clinic and needs to be removed from it please let Coach Olga know by December 1st to get credited. After that, the new policy will be in effect.
