IMPORTANT REMINDERS

RIPTIDE JINGLE BELL INVITE: Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed at our meet on Saturday. We had a number of swimmers competing in their first meet and they did awesome! We are very proud of them. The coaching staff was very pleased with the improvement in the swimmers’ skills and times. Way to go everyone! Thank you to all the families who stepped up to volunteer and make the meet run as well as it did. It truly takes a team effort, and we appreciate your help! The meet results are loaded in SWIMS and TU.

SCSC INVITE and JUNIOR NATIONALS: We have 136 Riptide swimmers attending the SCSC Winter Carnival this weekend. See the meet page for the latest details. Riptide has two swimmers (Quinlan Schroeder and Patrick Curran) attending Winter Junior Nationals in Westmont, Illinois this Thursday through Saturday. Good luck everyone!!!

PRACTICES ON SATURDAY: There are no practices on Saturday, Dec. 9th for the following groups due to the meets going on – Gold, Junior Select, and Senior. Senior Prep will practice 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Our TU calendars are updated to reflect these changes.

MEET DEADLINES: Riptide Snowball Invite (Jan. 20th) deadline Dec. 15th. If you have any questions about meets, please reach out to your swimmer’s lead coach.

SWIMMING IN COLLEGE: Does your swimmer want to compete in college, but you don't know where to start? Please join us for this FREE educational session with Head Coach Mike Parratto from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17th. Mike will discuss the important steps in the process: understanding college swimming and the divisions, how to know what type of school is the best fit, how to contact the college coach, when to start the process and more!

PRIVATE SPECIAL: Once again, we are offering private lessons at a special rate on December 27th and 28th. 30 minutes-$55, 60 minutes-$95. Please follow this link to sign up. PARKING LOT SAFETY: Please make sure to share with everyone who is dropping off your children that Bluewater Aquatic Center has ONE WAY traffic. It is important to keep the traffic going one way to keep our swimmers safe. Thank you!
