IMPORTANT REMINDERS

LOCKER ROOM CODE OF CONDUCT: Please take some time at home to review Riptide’s Locker Room Code of Conduct (see team email on Oct. 6th). We have seen an increase in behavior issues in the locker room since the season began. The coaching staff is continually addressing issues as they arise, but your help as parents to address this at home will certainly help. Thank you!

UPCOMING SWIM MEET DEADLINES:

  • HAST IMX Challenge – October 16th
  • FM Gators IMX Invite – deadline extended to October 20th

LOOKING FOR HELP WITH MEET SET-UP: Bobby Deeb has been an amazing volunteer for Riptide for several years. One of the ways that he contributes is by setting up the meet equipment before our swim meets. We need to train more parents to do what he does! Bobby is setting up for a Masters meet we are hosting next weekend. If you would like to shadow him this Friday (10/11) between 3:30 and 7:00 p.m., please contact coach Amy.

FAITHFUL SHEPARD SWIM TEAM: We are looking for a few Senior level swimmers who would like to volunteer their time to help out with the Faithful Shepard Swim Team. The team will practice on Sunday afternoons at BWAC starting in January. If you are interested or would like more information, contact coach Amy.

SWIM MEET ENTRIES: Remember that the lead coaches select the swimmers’ events. Please disregard the prompts from TU when you register your swimmer. If your swimmer has a particular event they want to swim, you can add that detail in the notes section. Thank you!

QUESTIONS REGARDING PRACTICES AND SWIM MEETS: If you have questions regarding your child’s practices or swim meets, contact the lead coach for their group (see below).

QUESTIONS REGARDING BILLING AND REGISTRATION: If you have questions regarding billing and registration, reach out to Cara Pavek. Our contact information is listed below.
