IMPORTANT REMINDERS

SWIM MEETS THIS WEEKEND: We have two swim meets going on this Sunday! The Great Wolf Howl at the Moon Invite at the University of Minnesota and the Northfield Spooky Splash. Please go to our team events page for the latest details on both meets. The final programs and timelines will be posted as soon as we receive the information from the meet directors.

RIPTIDE PARENT COMMITTEE: Thank you so much to the parents who have stepped forward to volunteer for our group parent committees. We are still looking for volunteers from the following groups: Gold (1), Senior Prep (2), Senior (2), Senior Elite (1). Here is the list of our new volunteers:

  • 8&U – Lauren Olson and Cham Bathirappan
  • Bronze – Brea Anderson, Angie Pudenz, and Bryan McGrath
  • Silver – Beth Clinton and Cheryl Gengler
  • Gold – Xiaoli Tang
  • Junior Select – Michelle Acosta and Shannon Fakkon
  • Senior Elite – Choomsri Fitch

GROUP RECOGNITION DATES: We have scheduled the following dates thus far to recognize our different practice groups and have a little fun. More group dates will be scheduled…stay tuned:

  • Silver – November 22nd…might be changed to November 15th
  • Gold – December 13th
  • Junior Select – January 18th

RIPTIDE TEAM TOWELS: Visit our team website under our team events page and click on the “Riptide Customized Towel Order” link. Order by October 26th to ensure a holiday delivery.

HALLOWEEN PRACTICE SCHEDULE CHANGES: There will be no practice on Thursday, October 31st due to Halloween for the following groups: 8&U, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Junior Select, Senior Prep, and Senior. Senior Elite has morning practice and a shorter afternoon practice from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Happy Halloween!

REGULAR REMINDERS

  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
