SWIM MEET DEADLINES:

  • Riptide Jingle Bell Invite – deadline extended to Nov. 6th.
  • SCSC Winter Carnival Invite – deadline extended to Nov. 6th.

NEW SWIM MEET OPPORTUNITY: Riptide is now part of a USA Swimming pilot program called Block Party! These are short, fun and easy swim meets to run. We will kick off the program on Saturday, Nov. 30th with a meet called the Turkey Classic that is part of a national virtual block party meet. The meet is tentatively scheduled to run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Stay tuned for more details.

HIGH SCHOOL SECTIONS: Good luck to all of our Riptide swimmers competing for their high school teams this week at Sections!!!!

FUN CAP FRIDAYS: Riptide swimmers are expected to wear a Riptide team swim cap at all practices except Fridays. Now you can wear your favorite fun cap on Fridays! 😊

POOLSIDE PORTRAITS: A big thank you to everyone who signed up for the poolside portraits! By purchasing a session, you’re not only capturing great memories but also supporting our banquet fundraiser. If you signed up via the link but haven’t yet made your payment, please visit our website under Events and Competitions to complete it. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Coach Olga. A huge thank you to Lauren Olson and Cheryl Gengler for generously giving their weekend afternoons to make this possible. We truly appreciate your support and dedication!

TWINKLE FOR OUR TEAM: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated lights for our team! We are so lucky to have such supportive families. If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, we’re accepting lights until November 25. Please drop off your donations at the front desk in the tub labelled Lights. Please contact Coach Olga with questions. Help us create a cheerful space for our families this season!

RIPTIDE MENTORS: Our Mentoring Program is a wonderful opportunity for swimmers to share their experience and passion with younger athletes. It’s truly inspiring to see our swimmers demonstrate dedication while developing their leadership skills in the water. By connecting with those still learning the basics, they help foster growth, confidence, and teamwork throughout the team. Special thank you to Nicole Cheruiyot, Daelynn Schmidt, Mia Barton, Kayla Schroeder, Audrey Hegge, Helen Higinbotham, Ava Gullickson for helping with the 8U and the Bronze group! Way to go, ladies!  If your swimmer is interested in participating in this program, please contact Coach Olga.
