IMPORTANT REMINDERS

FOXJET BRONZE INVITE: Congratulations to all our swimmers who attended the Foxjet meet this past Saturday. Way to go everyone! The results are loaded into SWIMS and Team Unify (TU).

UPCOMING SWIM MEETS: This coming Friday, many of our Senor Elite swimmers will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina for the MOR Atlantic Invitational. We also have 120 Riptide swimmers attending the HAST IMX Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. Meet details will be posted as soon as they are available.

PRACTICE CHANGES THIS WEEK: On Friday, the Silver Group will not swim due to their team activity night from 7-8 p.m. On Saturday, Junior Select and Gold will have a combined practice from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Practices for Senior and Senior Prep are canceled on Saturday.

NEW SWIM MEET OPPORTUNITY: Riptide is now part of a USA Swimming pilot program called Block Party! These are short, fun and easy swim meets to run. We will kick off the program on Saturday, Nov. 30th with a meet called the Turkey Classic that is part of a national virtual block party meet. The meet is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you have any questions about this meet, please contact coach Amy.

HIGH SCHOOL STATE: Good luck to all our Riptide swimmers competing at the High School State Championships this week!

SWIM MEET DEADLINES: Foxjet Winter Classic – Nov. 16th. Time standards apply to this meet. See the meet page for details.

SILVER GROUP RECOGNITION NIGHT: This Friday, we will recognize our Silver Group swimmers. They will have a fun night of games, hot chocolate and cookie decorating.

  • FUN CAP FRIDAYS: Riptide swimmers are expected to wear a Riptide team swim cap at all practices except Fridays. Now you can wear your favorite fun cap on Fridays! 😊
  • THANKSGIVING PRACTICE CHANGES: There will be no practices held on Thursday, Nov. 28th apart from Senior Elite. They will practice 7-9 a.m. in the 7 lane pool. On Friday, Nov. 29th all groups are off except for Senior Elite and Junior Select. Senior Elite will practice 7-9:30 a.m. in both pools and Junior Select will practice 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
