IMPORTANT REMINDERS

FM GATOR IMX INVITE: Congratulations to our swimmers who competed this past weekend in Fargo, North Dakota. It looks like Riptide swimmers rocked the meet!!! Results have been loaded into Team Unify.

RIPTIDE TURKEY CLASSIC: Thank you to everyone who has joined our new USA Swimming Turkey Classic Block Party meet on Nov. 30th. Registration is still open until tomorrow – Nov. 26th! More details will be posted by Wednesday.

REGIONAL ZONING: Riptide has been assigned to the Lakeville site hosted by Storm for the Regional Championships March 7-9, 2025. A very convenient site for us all!

NEW 50 EVENTS ADDED: MN Swimming has added 13-14 CH, Gold, Silver, Bronze time standards for the 50’s of the strokes (fly, back, breast). Check out the updated time standards - SCY Time Standards

THANKSGIVING PRACTICE SCHEDULE: On Thursday, there is no practice for all groups except for Senior Elite. They will practice in the 7-lane pool from 7-9 a.m. Swimmers must use the bathrooms in the 7-lane pool and enter the pool area from the back parking lot door. The 8-lane pool and locker rooms are reserved for the Masters Charity swim event. On Friday, there is no practice for Gold, Senior and Senor Prep. There is practice for Senior Elite from 7-9:30 a.m. and Junior Select from 9:30-11 a.m.

RIPTIDE MASTERS CHARITY SWIM: Our Masters group is hosting a charity swim on Thursday from 7-9:30 a.m. to bring in donations of dry goods and personal care products for 360 Communities. We will have a table(s) set up in the main lobby where you can drop off your donations. The five most needed items are 1. Canned fish and meat 2. Canned fruit and vegetables 3. Cooking and baking supplies 4. Rice, pasta, and cereal 5. Peanut butter. Also consider personal care items such as toothpaste, diapers, shampoo / conditioner, cleaning supplies, toilet paper etc. Thank you for your support!

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN: We are looking for more Riptide swimmers, parents, and coaches to get involved. See the registration info below.

UPCOMING MEET DEADLINE: The registration deadline for the Tigersharks Invite (Jan.4-5) is Dec. 2!

  • FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN: Please consider taking part in this charitable event on November 30th, 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Eagen location.

  • FUN CAP FRIDAYS: Riptide swimmers are expected to wear a Riptide team swim cap at all practices except Fridays. Now you can wear your favorite fun cap on Fridays! 😊

  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
