IMPORTANT REMINDERS

RIPTIDE JINGLE BELL INVITE: Congratulations to our swimmers who competed this past Saturday. Great job everyone!!! The results are now loaded into Meet Mobile, Team Unify and SWIMS. This was a huge meet with 267 swimmers and seven visiting teams. Our apologies for the delay in starting the meet and getting results posted on Meet Mobile. We had significant technical difficulties with the timing system. We were also late updating Meet Mobile because of the timing system issues and backed up administratively due to the number of DQ’s from all teams. With all these challenges, our volunteers were truly amazing. Thank you to everyone who stayed positive for the swimmers and kept the meet rolling along. You are truly the BEST!

UPCOMING MEETS: Riptide is sending two swimmers to Winter Junior Nationals in Austin, Texas Dec. 11-4. Good luck to Caroline Mulrooney and Patrick Curran! We are also sending a large Riptide group to the SCSC Winter Carnival Invite at the John Glenn Middle School aquatic center in Maplewood Dec. 14-15. Due to this meet, there are changes to the practice schedule on Saturday, so please be sure to check the practice calendars.

USA SWIMMING 2025 REGISTRATION: All swimmers must be registered for 2025. Please take care of this important task this week if you have not done so already.

TEAM ACTIVITIES: Please take advantage of these two fun-filled team events to strengthen our positive culture! 

  • WWE wars splash night on December 21 5-7pm. -Registration deadline is on December 19.
  • Team Bowling Outing- January 19, 1-3pm. Registration deadline is January 15. Space is limited.

  • FUN CAP FRIDAYS: Riptide swimmers are expected to wear a Riptide team swim cap at all practices except Fridays. Now you can wear your favorite fun cap on Fridays! 😊
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information β€“contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
