IMPORTANT REMINDERS

NORTHFIELD SPRINT SPECTACULAR: Riptide sent a small but mighty group of swimmers to a championship style meet hosted by the Northfield Swim Club this past weekend. Our swimmers dominated several age groups and came away with many personal best times and high point awards. The following swimmers won a unique boxer-style leather belt: James Kohler (8&U), Ben Kohler (9-10), Anh-na Le and Paige Turnbow tied (11-12). Congratulations to everyone!!!

GIRLS’ LOCKER ROOM: We will continue to ask swimmers to bring all their personal belongings out to the pool deck during their practices. The girls can use the locker room, they just should not leave anything in there. Because of the disappointing thefts that have occurred, this is the approach we have chosen to take to protect our swimmers. RIPTIDE BRONZE CLASSIC: If your swimmer is entered in this important meet that Riptide is hosting, we need your help. There are only 43 Riptide swimmers who are entered, and we will need everyone to pitch in. Please take a few minutes to add your name to one of the jobs listed. RIPTIDE 3rd ANNUAL BANQUET: We will hold our 3rd annual banquet on Sunday, May 4th at Lakeville North High School from 5-8 p.m. The banquet includes dinner, awards for graduating seniors, dancing and a photo booth. Stay tuned for more details!!!
