IMPORTANT REMINDERS

STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS MEETS: Riptide finished 3rd in the AAA combined team standings at 10&U Championships and 4th at the 11-14 Age Group State Championships held at the University of Minnesota’s Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center this past Wednesday through Thursday. The meet finished with plenty of excitement as there was a tornado warning that resulted in the meet being sped up with no awards. All our missing Riptide awards will be delivered to coach Ethan at the Senior State. Congratulations to the following high point winners in the 11-12 and 13-14 age groups: Anh-na Le 1st and Paige Turnbow – 3rd (11-12); Alyce Gaffke – 2nd and Iris Povolny – 3rd (13-14). Way to go everyone!!!!!

REMAINING CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS: Speedo Junior National Championships start tomorrow in Irvine, California. Riptide has two swimmers attending this high-level meet: Stella Bushard and Caroline Mulrooney. Good luck ladies!!! The 14&U Central Zone Championships start on Friday in Rochester. Riptide has a record number of qualifiers – 18 SWIMMERS!!! Good luck to everyone!!! On Wednesday, August 6th, we have 15 swimmers competing at the Minnesota Swimming Open Water State Meet at Square Lake in Stillwater. GO RIPTIDE!!!!

MISSING REGIONAL AWARDS: We have received missing Regional awards and certificates. They will be at the BWAC front desk. The pool will be open Monday thru Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

LOST AND FOUND: Items left at all end of season meets have ben added to our lost and found table. Please be sure to stop by before August 18th. All items will be donated or tossed out if not claimed.

GROUP MOVES: Lead coaches will send out group move emails by Friday, August 1st.

SHORT COURSE SEASON: The 2025-2026 short course season begins the week of September 8th. The registration system will reopen for the new season on Monday, August 18th. Stay tuned for more details after the coaches get a short break.

  • QUESTIONS REGARDING PRACTICES AND SWIM MEETS: If you have questions regarding your child’s practices or swim meets, contact the lead coach for their group (see below).
  • QUESTIONS REGARDING BILLING AND REGISTRATION: If you have questions regarding billing and registration, reach out to Cara Pavek or Anne Knapp. Anne will be taking over for Car this fall. Our contact information is listed below.
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
