IMPORTANT REMINDERS

SENIOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS: Riptide finished 4TH in the AAA combined team standings at the Senior State Championships held at the Hubert Aquatic Center in West Fargo, North Dakota July 31st through August 3rd. In the overall high point standings, Madelyn Jennen finished in 3rd and also finished 2nd in the distance high point standings. Maddie Wentzel also placed in the top ten in the distance high point standings – 8th. We had two boys place in the top 10 for the distance high point! Wes Knapp was 2nd, and Gabe Lenzen was 9th. Way to go everyone!!!

JUNIOR NATIONALS AND ZONES: Congratulations to all our Riptide swimmers who competed at the 14&U Central Zone Championships in Rochester and Junior Nationals in Irvine, California. We are very proud of our Riptide swimmers!!!!

OPEN WATER STATE MEET: The first MNSI Open Water State Meet in several years will take place this Wednesday in Stillwater. Riptide has 15 swimmers competing - Go RIPTIDE!!!

LOST AND FOUND: Items left at all end of season meets have been added to our lost and found table. Please be sure to stop by before August 18th. All items will be donated or tossed out if not claimed.

SHORT COURSE SEASON: The 2025-2026 short course season begins the week of September 8th. The registration system will reopen for the new season on Monday, August 18th. The TU calendars will be updated this week with the practice schedule. If you have any questions, please reach out to your swimmer’s lead coach.

PARENT MEETING DATES AND TIMES: Please mark your calendars for the following Parent Meetings before we kick off the short course season the week of September 8th:

  • 8&U - Thursday, Sept. 4th 5-6 p.m. / classroom
  • Bronze - Friday, Sept. 5th 6-7 p.m. / classroom
  • Silver - Friday, Sept. 5th 5-6 p.m. / classroom
  • Gold - Thursday, Sept. 4th 6-7 p.m. / classroom
  • Junior Select - Saturday, Sept. 6th 9-10 a.m. / classroom
  • Senior 1 and 2 – Tuesday, Sept. 2nd 6:45-7:30 p.m. / classroom
  • Senior 3 – Tuesday, Sept. 2nd 6-6:45 p.m. / classroom
  • Senior Elite – Thursday, Sept. 4th 5-6 p.m. / lobby

  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
