IMPORTANT REMINDERS

RIPTIDE INTRASQUAD NEWS: We will be doing some new fun team events (see below) leading up to our Intrasquad Meet on Saturday, October 4th. This week, the staff is working on finalizing the three team rosters: Blue, Green and White teams. As soon as we have that task completed, the rosters will be posted, and more details will be available. If you missed the deadline to sign up (yesterday), please email coach Laura and coach Amy.

HOCO PANTS: Show your team spirit by creating your own pair of Riptide HOCO pants! Riptide is hosting 2 sessions - September 22nd and September 23rd, both from 5pm to 8pm. Swimmers can come before or after practice to decorate their pants. Swimmers will receive a pair of black sweatpants that they can decorate. All the decorating supplies will be provided. The cost for the event is $15.00. The signup is on our team events page - Management Console - Riptide Swim Team - TeamUnify.

POSTER MAKING NIGHTS: We have a fun night of poster making for the Intrasquad meet on October 2nd and 3rd. All art supplies will be provided. Stay tuned for more details.

MEET DEADLINE CHANGES:

  • Northfield Championship Belt Invite – deadline moved to September 28th
  • Great Wolf Howl at the Moon Invite – deadline October 4th.  

REGULAR REMINDERS

  • QUESTIONS REGARDING PRACTICES AND SWIM MEETS: If you have questions regarding your child’s practices or swim meets, contact the lead coach for their group (see below).

  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
