IMPORTANT REMINDERS

RIPTIDE INTRASQUAD NEWS: The team rosters (Blue / Green / White) will be posted on our Intrasquad meet page and emailed to all participating swimmers by the end of today. More details to come. Parents – please be sure to volunteer!

POSTER MAKING NIGHTS: We have a fun night of poster making for the Intrasquad meet on October 2nd and 3rd. All art supplies will be provided. Stay tuned for more details.

NATIONAL TOP 10: Congratulations to our swimmers who have achieved National Top 10 finishes!!! Senior Elite swimmer Alyce Gaffke achieved the following Top 10 finishes: 200 fly (11-12 / short course) – 10th, 1650 free (11-12 / short course) – 6th, 200 fly (13-14 / long course) – 4th, 1000 free (13-14 / short course) – 7th, 1500 free (13-14 / long course) – 3rd, 800 free (13-14 / long course) – 9th. Riptide also had two relays place in the Top 10:  800 free relay (13/ 14) Alyce Gaffke, Iris Povolny, Elaina Pontrelli, Marian Kalweit – 6th; 800 free relay (15-16) Madelyn Jennen, Vivian Lenzen, Sofia Kovalenko, Ruby Kaul – 7th. Way to go ladies!!!

RIPTIDE MASTERS MEET: Riptide Masters is hosting a swim meet for Minnesota Masters on Sunday, October 12th. We will provide the timers for the meet. Look for a sign-up soon! Riptide will receive money from MN Masters which will go towards our end of season banquet / celebration. Additionally, we are looking for one more lifeguard ($75.00). If you are interested, please contact coach Amy.

  • Northfield Championship Belt Invite – deadline September 28th
  • Great Wolf Howl at the Moon Invite – deadline October 4th.

  • QUESTIONS REGARDING PRACTICES AND SWIM MEETS: If you have questions regarding your child’s practices or swim meets, contact the lead coach for their group (see below).

  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected].
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
