IMPORTANT REMINDERS

SWIM MEETS: Riptide attended two meets this past weekend. Our Bronze and Senior 1 swimmers competed at the Foxjets Bronze Invite in Eden Prairie on Saturday. Congratulations to our swimmers!!! Ninety-one Riptide swimmers swam Saturday and Sunday at the Great Wolf Howl at the Moon Invite held at the University of Minnesota. Our swimmers raced their hearts out and achieved a high percentage of best times. The results for both meets are loaded into Team Unify and SWIMS. Way to go everyone!!!

SWIM MEET DEADLINE EXTENDED: The deadline for the Riptide Jingle Bell Meet has been extended to November 14th. Groups attending this meet are: 8&U (M/W), Bronze and Silver. We would like to see a good turnout!!! If you have any questions, please reach out to your swimmer’s lead coach.

NEWS FROM BILLING AND REGISTRATION: Please read the following important information from Anne Knapp.

  • USA Swimming registration - if you have not renewed your swimmer's USA Swimming membership, please do that this month. Your swimmer MUST be registered with USA Swimming in order to attend practice, team events and meets.
  • Meet fees are based on ENTRY status. Unless your swimmer's coach CONFIRMS that your swimmer has been removed from a meet, you will be charged.
  • Charges for the Northfield, FOXJET and Great Wolf meets will be billed and payment collected this week.
  • High school swimmers - if you have a swimmer RETURNING for high school, please email the return date if you have not done that already. If you have a swimmer LEAVING for high school later this month, please email me if you have not done that already.

LOST AND FOUND: All items will be donated or tossed out this Tuesday morning (11/11). Please stop by to check to see if your child has left something behind.

THANK YOU COACH MONTH: November is USA Swimming’s “Thank You Coach” month. Our entire coaching staff is dedicated to helping your child thrive in the sport. Please take a moment to show your appreciation for all that they do to help your swimmer have a great experience.

MEZZANINE / VIEWING PRACTICES: If you would like to view your swimmer’s practice, please watch from the mezzanine level rather than the lobby. Additionally, we do not want tables set up on the mezzanine level. If you need to do work, there is space in the upstairs meeting room when it is not being used by our practice groups. Thank you 😊
