IMPORTANT REMINDERS  

JINGLE BELL INVITE: Congratulations to our swimmers who competed this past Saturday at our Jingle Bell Invite. We are super proud of every single swimmer! Thank you to our parents and family members who helped to run the meet. We cannot host swim meets without your help! The results are loaded into SWIMS and Team Unify.

14&U SINGLE AGE STATE: Riptide swimmers demonstrated their resilience and competitive ability over the two-and-a-half-day championship meet. The air quality had a significant impact on everyone, but our swimmers still were able to race to the best of their ability and achieve a high percentage of best times. In the high point standings, Mia Pierskalla nabbed the top spot with many fantastic races. We had several swimmers who were in the top 10, but the reports are not yet available. Riptide finished 4th in the women’s standings and 8th in the combined team standings. Congratulations to one and all!

SCSC WINTER CARNIVAL: Our meet page will be updated with the latest meet news as soon as it is made available.

CANCELLED PRACTICES: On Friday (12/12), there is no Junior Select practice. On Saturday, there is no practice for the following groups – Gold, Junior Select, and Senior 3.

TIGERSHARKS INVITE: The deadline for the Tigersharks Freeze Your Fins Off Invite has been extended to TODAY. If you missed the deadline, please go in and get your swimmer registered!

USA SWIMMING 2026 MEMBERSHIP - If you have not yet renewed your swimmer's membership with USA Swimming, be sure to do that this month! To renew your swimmer's membership, log into your USA Swimming account and then select the RENEW option. Swimmers must have a current USA Swimming membership to participate in practice, team events and meets.

REGULAR REMINDERS 

  • QUESTIONS REGARDING PRACTICES AND SWIM MEETS: If you have questions regarding your child’s practices or swim meets, contact the lead coach for their group (see below). 
  • QUESTIONS REGARDING BILLING AND REGISTRATION: If you have questions regarding billing and registration, reach out to Cara Pavek or Anne Knapp. Anne will be taking over for Car this fall. Our contact information is listed below. 
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected]. 
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
