RIPTIDE REMINDERS AND NEWS  

FOXJETS WINTER CLASSIC: This past weekend, we have several groups attending the Foxjets Winter Classic held at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota. Riptide swimmers raced very well for this time of the season. The coaching staff is very proud of them! The results are in the system. 😊

RIPTIDE SPLASH BASH BLOCK PARTY MEET: This Saturday, we are running a two-session block party meet. We should have the meet program and timeline posted by Wednesday.

There are still several timing slots that need to be filled for session 1. If your swimmer is in the meet, please be sure to volunteer. Thank you!

PRACTICE CHANGE ON SATURDAY: Because of our swim meet, there are no practices on Saturday (1/17).

END OF SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS: If you are not sure which end of season meet your swimmer should attend, please reach out to your child’s lead coach. Additionally, lead coaches will select the swimmer’s events but do also appreciate input from the swimmers in the notes section.

REGULAR REMINDERS 

  • QUESTIONS REGARDING PRACTICES AND SWIM MEETS: If you have questions regarding your child’s practices or swim meets, contact the lead coach for their group (see below). 
  • QUESTIONS REGARDING BILLING AND REGISTRATION: If you have questions regarding billing and registration, reach out to Cara Pavek or Anne Knapp. Anne will be taking over for Car this fall. Our contact information is listed below. 
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected]. 
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
