RIPTIDE REMINDERS AND NEWS  

RIPTIDE SPLASH BASH BLOCK PARTY MEET: Congratulations to our Riptide swimmers who competed this past Saturday. We had quite a few swimmers try new events which was fantastic. Way to go everyone!!! Thank you to our families who volunteered and made it possible to run this fun meet for our team. The results have been loaded into SWIMS and Team Unify.

END OF SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS: If you are not sure which end of season meet your swimmer should attend, please reach out to your child’s lead coach. Additionally, lead coaches will select the swimmer’s events but do also appreciate input from the swimmers in the notes section.

MEET DEADLINES EXTENDED: We have extended the deadlines for both the Last Chance Meet and the Aquajet Meet to January 23.

BILLING REMINDER – SHORT COURSE SEASON: As we head into the excitement of end‑of‑season meets, here’s a quick reminder of what to expect for the final Short Course billing cycles: Monthly Dues Schedule

  • February: Full dues
  • March: 50% of dues

Your swimmer may finish their season before mid‑March, but these fees still apply. For full details, please refer to the Riptide Parent Handbook or reach out to [email protected] anytime.

MEET FEES: Meet fees are based on your swimmer’s meet entries. Fees will be billed for any meet you’ve committed to, even if your swimmer is unable to attend.

REGULAR REMINDERS 

  • QUESTIONS REGARDING PRACTICES AND SWIM MEETS: If you have questions regarding your child’s practices or swim meets, contact the lead coach for their group (see below). 
  • QUESTIONS REGARDING BILLING AND REGISTRATION: If you have questions regarding billing and registration, reach out to Cara Pavek or Anne Knapp. Anne will be taking over for Car this fall. Our contact information is listed below. 
  • Adult Swim Training & Private Lessons: Group Training for Triathletes & Masters; Beginner Adult Swim Classes; Individual and Small Group Lessons going on now! For more information –contact [email protected]. 
  • Private Lessons: Riptide Coaches offer 30 and 60 minute private lessons. If your swimmer is interested, contact your lead coach directly and they can help you out or recommend another coach on our staff.
