RIPTIDE REMINDERS AND NEWS
RIPTIDE LAST CHANCE BLOCK PARTY MEET: Congratulations to our Riptide swimmers who competed this past weekend. Great job everyone!!! Thank you to our volunteers and officials for making the magic happen. Riptide cannot run swim meets without your help! The results are loaded into SWIMS and Team Unify
SPEEDO PIZZA PARTY AND TECH SUIT FITTING: We’re excited to share that our sponsor, Speedo, will be hosting a Valentine's pizza party for all groups on Friday, February 6! To help keep things running smoothly, we’re looking for two parent volunteers from each group to assist before/after their swimmer's practice with moving pizza boxes, monitoring kids, and general help during the event.
Please sign up here to volunteer.
In addition, Speedo will have representatives available to answer questions about tech suits, including 12 & Under tech suits that are compliant with current regulations. You'll also find an informational handout attached to this email.
This is a great opportunity to get expert guidance, ask questions, and make sure your swimmer is race-ready with the right suit. Speedo will be available to assist groups with 12&U tech suit fittings during the following times:
- Gold: 4:00–4:30
- Junior Select: 4:30–5:00
- 8&U: 5:00–5:30
- Silver: 5:45–6:15
We’re grateful for Speedo’s continued support and hope you’ll take advantage of this exciting opportunity.
END OF SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS: If you are not sure which end of season meet your swimmer should attend, please reach out to your child’s lead coach. Additionally, lead coaches will select the swimmer’s events but do also appreciate input from the swimmers in the notes section.
LAST DAY OF PRACTICE: The last day of practice for those swimmers not moving on to state level championship meets is Thursday, February 26. The long course season will start on Tuesday, April 7. Stay tuned for details!
BILLING REMINDER – SHORT COURSE SEASON: As we head into the excitement of end‑of‑season meets, here’s a quick reminder of what to expect for the final Short Course billing cycles: Monthly Dues Schedule
