Riptide Weekly News – August 9, 2021 New Information Riptide had eight Senior Elite swimmers head to USA Swimming’s Summer Senior Championships in Irvine, CA August 3-7. Riptide has a record number of swimmers headed to the 14&U Central Zone Championships in Westmont, IL August 5-8. Some amazing swims came out of it, and Marian Kalweit and Caroline Mulrooney scored as high point winners for Team Minnesota. She brings home three well-earned medals from the Tokyo Olympic Games: Bronze in the 100 Backstroke, Silver in the 200 Butterfly and Silver in the women’s 4 x 100 Medley Relay.
